WHEN WILL WE UNDERSTAND? (Psalms 94:8)

"Remember this, you stupid people, when will you understand, you fools!" (Psalms 94:8)

Call me lunatic, or superstitious or whatever you like to call me, when the faithful Christians in Philippines say that the Knock Out defeat of Pac-man because he has abandoned the Cross and the Rosary and believe that what happened in India and what happens in Philippines are also the same but not the coincidence.  Still you may not get what I am talking about.  I am not talking about the Knock Out of Pac-man, he may rise again because his opponent is only a human, but if God stands against you, you need to cry out like Egyptians that God is fighting for them, and you cannot say like Pharaoh that it is better to die in fighting with God than to die in humiliation.  Sure, may be if we don’t listen to the warnings of God we may die like that.

Let me not keep you in suspense.  Hope no Filipino would have forgotten the ferocious dance of the flood in Manila last time – the time when the Government wanted to pass the RH bill by-passing the voting.  And it happened… flood in Manila… and there came just few days ago the super cyclone Pablo killing nearly 500 people leaving thousands homeless and missing.  This time the Government was preparing a legal voting to pass the RH bill.  Can we remember the word of God here? “Remember this, you stupid people, when will you understand, you fools!” (Psalms 94:8)  If we just move ahead of this verses you will be shocked to know how truthful the word of God.  It says, “How long shall the wicked, O Lord, how long shall the wicked exult? …. They crush your people, O Lord, they oppress your inheritance.  They murder the widow and the lonely, they massacre the helpless;”         (Psalms 94:3,5-6) And then follows the verse what we have seen.  Through this RH bill they are going to massacre the helpless… the helpless children in the womb, the helpless young mothers… you may know better than me.

Thinking or connecting the natural calamities to the present event may seem insane, lunatic or even superstition, but the history has proved.  When in 2001 killings in Gujarath and the massacre of thousands of Christians in Orissa in the year 2008 there followed earthquake and floods devastating the districts where the killings took place.

more than 20,000 people killed in 2001 earthquake in Gujarat
Orisa flood

You cannot call this as co-incidence anyone who turns back to the history will not deny this.  So, too, here in Philippines God is giving us warnings by flood, earthquake and cyclone.  If we fail to give heed to his voice and change our ways that discriminate human values and do any kind of harm to humanity in any form whether it is RH bill or whatever, the next time God’s wrath will fall upon us and no one can escape from that.  Our God is Merciful God but he is also a just judge.  It’s God who continues the work of creation with the help of human beings; won’t he know how to take care of them if we trust in his providential care?

“The Lord does not see,” they say, “the God of Jacob does not care.” Remember this, you stupid people, when will you understand, you fools! He who made the ear, will he not hear? He who formed the eye, will he not see? He who rebukes nations, will he not punish them?” (Psalms 94:7-10)
Ofcourse we don’t ask for the punishment or the wrath of God upon us and our nations, all we want is the government officials may cooperate with the plan of God.  With all their efforts the Bishops in Philippines invite us for the same. PUSH. Pray Until Something Happens.  We saw the mighty power of our unity on the Thanks Giving Day Celebrations of St. Pedro Calungsod.

Let’s unite again, let’s remember our history EDSA. Let’s join together and pray that RH BILL MAY NOT PASS.  When we can do so much GOD CAN DO MUCH MORE.

May Our Lady of Guadalupe, who promised that she is our mother and will protect from all dangers, intercede for us with her son Jesus Christ.

“Hear me and understand well, my son the least, that nothing should frighten or grieve you. Let not your heart be disturbed. Do not fear that sickness, nor any other sickness or anguish. Am I not here, who is your Mother? Are you not under my protection? Am I not your health? Are you not happily within my fold? What else do you wish? Do not grieve nor be disturbed by anything." (Our Lady of Guadalupe to St. Juan Diego)

IF YOU LOVE GOD AND LOVE HUMANITY PLEASE PRAY AND PASS ON THIS TO ALL THE "MEN OF GOOD WILL" AND SAY NO TO RH BILL.

Let's Celebrate this Christmas Meaningfully.
